Public Notice – Public Hearing by Tyre Town Board November 16, 2023 6:30 PM

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that a public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Tyre on the  day of November 16, 2023, at 6:30 p.m., at the Tyre Town Hall, 1082 Gravel Road, Seneca Falls, New York, regarding the adoption of a Local Law of the Town of Tyre for the year 2023 entitled “A Local Law Amending Local Law 1 of 2009, Local Law 1 of 2010, Local Law No. 4 of the Year 2015 and the Zoning Law of the Town of Tyre Pertaining to Dogs and Kennels”.  This local law would amend the penalty provisions in each of the three local laws, amend the definition of “COMMERCIAL KENNEL” in Local Law 4 of the Year 2015 and, in the Zoning Law of the Town of Tyre, amend the definition of “Kennel”, add a new definition of “Commercial Dog Kennel”, adding “Commercial Dog Kennel” as a specially permitted use in the Agricultural District (AG) and as a permitted use in the Commercial District West (C-1), amending regulations pertaining to Kennels and making such regulations also applicable to Commercial Dog Kennels and amending Appendix A: Bulk and Use Tables to change the references to “Kennel” to read “Kennel/Commercial Dog Kennel”.

Any person shall be entitled to be heard upon said proposed Local Law at such public hearing.  Copies of said proposed Local Law are available for review at the Tyre Town Hall, 1082 Gravel Road, Seneca Falls, New York.
