NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON TOWN OF TYRE 2023 PRELIMINARY BUDGETS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Tyre 2023 Preliminary Budget, the Tyre Fire Protection District 2023 Preliminary Budget, the Tyre Water District #1 2023 Preliminary Budget, the Tyre Water District #2 2023 Preliminary Budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2023 have been completed and filed in the office of the Tyre Town Clerk, 1082 Gravel Rd, Seneca Falls, NY 13148, in the Town of Tyre, where they are available for inspection by any interested person during normal business hours.

FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Tyre will meet and review said Town of Tyre 2023 Preliminary Budgets and hold a Public Hearing thereon at the Tyre Municipal Building, 1082 Gravel Rd, Seneca Falls, NY 13148, in the Town of Tyre, at 6:30pm on the 10th day of November 2022, and that at said hearing, any person may be heard in favor of, or against, any item or items therein contained.

PURSUANT TO §108 OF THE TOWN LAW, the proposed salaries of the elected officials are set forth in said budget as follows:

Supervisor                                 $21,600.00

4 Councilman – each                 $3,800.00

Town Justice                               $27,000.00

Town Justice                               $27,000.00

Tax Collector                               $3,000.00

Town Clerk                                $22,000.00

Highway Superintendent           $60,000.00

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that immediately following the Public Hearing described above, the Tyre Town Board may consider any additional matters that are properly brought before it.
