Town of Tyre Board Meeting on May 21, 2020 (FULL VIDEO)

Due to the COVID restrictions at the current time, there is no public access to the town board meeting in May 2020. The meeting was live streamed and can be viewed in it’s entirety below:

TOWN OF TYRE MUNICIPAL BUILDING

The Town of Tyre Municipal Building will be closed to the public until further notice due to COVID reports. Town Business will be conducted by phone at: (315)835-0206 or e-mail at: adminassistant@tyreny.com.

You may contact the Tyre Town Justice Courts at: (315)835-0043 or e-mail at: courts@tyre.com. Court personnel may be contacted Monday – Friday from 9:00-4:00 only by phone or e-mail. You may drop off any paperwork in the COURT box outside of the municipal building. Make sure that you sign any forms and your contact information is correct. You will be notified of your next court appearance. Traffic matters may be handled by mail through the Seneca County District Attorney’s Office – see their website for instructions. At this time, we do not know when the justice courts will be able to hear cases. Thank you for your cooperation.

Notice of Planning Board Public Hearing 5/26/2020

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Tyre Planning Board will convene a Public Hearing May 26, 2020 at 6:30 PM at the Tyre Town Municipal Building located at 1082 Gravel Road, Seneca Falls, NY 13148 to review an application for an Amended Site Plan Review submitted by Martin’s Honey Farm and Meadery, LLC (Applicant) located at 2981 State Routes 5&20, Seneca Falls, NY 13148 (Tax Map # 17-1-06.11).  The public will only be able to access the meeting remotely by video or telephone.  Please consult the Town of Tyre website (www.tyreny.com) or call the town office (315-835-0206) for details.  On March 24, 2020 the Planning Board approved an application for a 1920 sq. ft. addition to expand distillery operations.  The Applicant amended the approved plan to move the new building 14 feet to the east.  Under Town of Tyre Local Law #2 of 2015, Site Plan Review, an amended site plan review application must be presented in a public hearing.  Under State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) 6 NYCRR Part 617, the project has been determined to be Type II and thus does not require environmental review.  Application detail can be viewed during normal business hours at the Tyre Town Municipal Building.
