Public Notice – Cancellation of Special Town Board Meeting September 29, 2022 6:30 PM


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the special meeting of the Tyre Town Board scheduled for Thursday, September 29, 2022 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Tyre Municipal Building located at 1082 Gravel Road, Seneca Falls, N.Y. 13148 in the Town of Tyre, Seneca County is canceled.

The intent was to discuss recommendations for how the Town will utilize the real property and equipment acquired as a result of the dissolution of the former Magee Volunteer Fire Department.

The Special Tyre Town Board Meeting is CANCELED, but will be RESCHEDULED.

Public Notice – Rabies Vaccination Clinic October 4, 2022 6:00pm

The Seneca County Health Department is having a drive-thru rabies vaccination clinic at the Waterloo Fire Department, 39 E. Water Street, Waterloo, NY 13165 on October 4, 2022 6:00 – 7:00 PM.

Registration is required.

If your animal is due for a three year vaccination please send a photo or a copy of their most recent vaccination to If this is a first vaccination, no prior proof is needed and this vaccination will be good for 1 year.

Donations are appreciated, but not required.

Public Notice – Notice of Special Meeting by Tyre Town Board October 6, 2022 6:30 PM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board for the Town of Tyre will hold a Special Meeting for the purpose of holding a 2023 Budget Workshop for Budget Year 2023 at the Town of Tyre Municipal Building, 1082 Gravel Road, Seneca Falls NY 13148 on Thursday, October 6, 2022 beginning at 6:30 p.m.  The purpose of this workshop is to review initial departmental budgets, committee requests and funding requests from outside agencies for the budget year 2023.

This meeting is open to the public and all interested persons are encouraged to attend.

FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that immediately following the Budget Workshop described above, the Town Board may consider any additional business that is properly brought before it.
