LEGAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Section 20 of the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New York, and pursuant to a resolution of the Planning Board of the Town of Tyre, a Public Hearing will be held by the Planning Board of the Town of Tyre at the Tyre Municipal Building, 1082 Gravel Road, Seneca Falls, NY 13148, in the Town of Tyre, Seneca County on November 23, 2021.  The Public Hearing will be reconvened at 6:30 PM for the purpose of hearing public comments for a minor subdivision of approximately 52± acres of land from Tax Map Parcel ID No. 12-01-01.220 located in the Town of Tyre, Seneca County, New York for development by Wilkins RV, Inc (7520 State Route 415, Bath, NY 14810).  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, public access to the meeting will be available by only video or telephonic means.  Live video can be accessed via the internet at: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/977278733, or for telephone access please dial 571-317-3116.  If needed, the meeting ID is 977 278 733.  Connection information is also available on the Tyre website (www.tyreny.com).  For those without nationwide dialing, toll-free access is available at 866-899-4679.  Video recordings and transcripts of the meeting will be available at the Tyre website (www.tyreny.com) within two days after the meeting; and

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE this Public Hearing also will be held for the purpose of hearing public comments on the site plan application by Wilkins RV, Inc. to develop a commercial facility for the sales and service of recreational vehicles; and

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE this Public Hearing also will be held for the purpose of hearing and receiving input and evidence from citizens and agencies on any and all environmental matters under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (“SEQRA”) 6 NYCRR Part 617.5 pertaining to the proposed Wilkins RV Center and its requested subdivision, and site plan applications.

THE TYRE PLANNING BOARD invites written comments to be submitted regarding the proposed Love’s Travel Center project and any potential related environmental impacts of concern by sending comments to the Tyre Municipal Building, 1082 Gravel Road, Seneca Falls, NY 13148 and invites written and oral comments at the aforementioned Public Hearings. Those wishing to provide comment on these subjects should submit written comments to the Town of Tyre within 24 hours of the date and time specified.

COPIES of the site plan, subdivision and Full Environmental Assessment Form permit applications will be available for public review at the Tyre Municipal Building, 1082 Gravel Road, Seneca Falls, NY 13148 by appointment only during normal business hours

Notice is hereby given that the Tyre Planning Board will resume public meetings at the Tyre Municipal Building, located at 1082 Gravel Road, Seneca Falls, NY 13148, commencing on July 27, 2021 at 6:30 PM.  This change will remain in effect until further notice.  Planning Board meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
